GHANNOUCH POWER PLANT
The support work for the excavations for the pumping station consisted of building a diaphragm wall around the entire perimeter of the station, 18 m deep and 60 cm thick. For the discharge structure, support was provided by secant pile walls over a length of 100 ml, with piles 800 mm in diameter and a depth of 14 m. The excavations for the other three structures were supported by sheet piles, both recoverable and lost. Finally, a drawdown of the water table was carried out for all structures located below the water table.
