COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT – 450 MW – RADES -C
The foundation works were carried out using prefabricated driven piles, with a section of 45 x 45 mm, installed at a depth of 25 metres. These piles provide a robust and reliable base for the planned structures.
To validate the quality of the piles, loading tests were carried out, including a compression test up to failure and a lateral test up to failure. In addition, the piles were examined using mechanical impedance techniques and sonic tests, ensuring the conformity and solidity of the foundations.
